miHoYo has excited fans by announcing that the action game Honkai Impact 3rd will begin a new day in “Part 2”, a new chapter that will mark an important step in the story and combat system of the game. Launch is scheduled for February 2024.
In this new installment, Honkai Impact 3rd will take us further, from Earth and the Moon to the solar system, where players will embark on an electrifying adventure with new companions from different cultures. This time, players will take on the role of a team member called “Dreamseeker.” In addition to the main plot, the combat system will also receive a complete overhaul that will enhance the experience on the battlefield.
In the previous story of Part 1, the world of Honkai Impact 3rd was corrupted by a mysterious energy known as Honkai. A tenacious resistance led by brave girls called Valkyries led humanity in a war of survival, fighting for all that is beautiful in the world. Since its release on mobile devices, the game has gained an international following and was ported to PC in late 2019 with cross-save support. Now, it’s also available on the Epic Games Store, making the Honkai universe more accessible than ever.
In the upcoming Part 2, the story takes place on Mars, a habitable place with a unique civilization and developing nature. Players will encounter new main characters and non-player characters with distinctive appearances and personalities, immersing themselves in a more fluid and immersive gaming experience.
The combat system, always a highlight in Honkai Impact 3rd, will receive a revolutionary update in Part 2. The three-dimensional fighting will be improved, allowing all characters to jump freely, leading to new challenges and combat strategies.
