During G-Star 2023, publisher Netmarble and developer Netmarble F&C have released exciting new information, audiovisual material and screenshots for the highly anticipated collectible role-playing game, DEMIS RE:BORN. This event is held at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center in South Korea until November 19.
A collectible RPG in the Grand Cross universe
DEMIS RE:BORN is a collectible role-playing game based on Netmarble’s own intellectual property, the Grand Cross universe. In the game, players take on the role of connectors endowed with unique abilities who encounter transcendents who have entered through the Grand Cross phenomenon that connects various dimensions. Together, they undertake missions that reveal a captivating story.
The game immerses players with beautifully designed transcendents within its own unique narrative, complete with gorgeous 3D graphics that strengthen the overall gaming experience. Story mode features the journey of Transcendents and Connectors, who are mythological or historical heroes reinterpreted with a modern narrative.
A story never seen before: recovering the “OOPARTS”
The “never before seen” story of DEMIS RE:BORN will be revealed: a journey of connectors and transcendents to recover the “OOPARTS” (out of place artifacts) that bring chaos to the world. In DEMIS RE:BORNconnectors (players) accompany various transcendents on quests and experience a visual narrative that feels like watching a high-quality anime film.
Transcendents are mythological or historical heroes reinterpreted with a unique modern narrative to DEMIS RE:BORN, and each has their own unique backstory and setting. Through Netmarble F&C’s ability to create anime-style performances, each character’s distinctive charms stand out with various movements and delicate emotional expressions according to different situations.
At G-STAR 2023, 14 unique characters will be revealed, including main characters Odin, Selene and Orphne. Odin is the supreme “King of the Gods”, despite his cute appearance, he is full of confidence. Selene, the noble moon goddess and “mistress of the cold moonlight,” is hard-hearted, while Orphne, the “Malicious Maid,” is graceful and powerful. In the G-Star build, players will be able to see detailed profiles of the characters and their voices, and will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorites.
DEMIS RE:BORN is in development for PC, iOS and Android, promising to immerse players in a world full of story, captivating characters and a unique gaming experience in the Grand Cross universe.
