Chinese developer FireWo Games has announced the release of a new Chinese-style open-world action RPG called “The Bustling World” for PC (Steam). Although a specific release date has not been announced, the company has also started a Kickstarter campaign seeking $80,000 in funding.

Chinese studio FireWo Games has revealed its next project, “The Bustling World,” an open-world action role-playing game set in ancient China. The company has simultaneously launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the game, which will be available on PC through Steam.

- Living World and Smart Residents: “The Bustling World” breaks predetermined development by allowing everything in the game to “think and decide” its own “behavior” based on the player’s actions. The residents in the game have their own lives, families, personalities and social relationships, making decisions influenced by the player’s actions.
- Agriculture and Animal Husbandry: With over 60 types of plants and 30 types of animals, players can grow, breed, and use skills and tools to grow their crops and obtain valuable resources from animals.
- Production and Architecture: The game features a wide range of traditional Chinese crafts, such as cooking, weaving and casting. Players can freely build any style of building with nearly two thousand realistic building components.
- Social interaction: Players can socialize with any NPC in the game, from neighbors to the king. Interactions range from making friends, getting married, bribing local officials to attacking those you don’t like.
- Management and Business: Players can start and run businesses, such as restaurants, hotels, inns, pharmacies, banks, and retail stores. Competition is intensified through promotional activities, employee recruitment, and business tactics.
- Traditional Chinese Clothing: “The Bustling World” is the first game in the world to completely restore traditional Chinese clothing with realistic physical simulation of clothing based on ancient paintings and classics.
- Deep Dive into Gangs: From underground casinos and secret banks to savage bandits and martial cults, the game features a deep exploration of the underworld, where players can interact, join, eliminate or rebuild various gangs.
