Blobfish announces the release of Brotato, a roguelike action shooter, for consoles on January 30


Blobfish, the game’s developer, has revealed that its exciting roguelike action title, Brotato, will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One starting January 30. As previously announced, the Xbox versions will also be available through Xbox Game Pass. Additionally, Red Art Games will release a physical Deluxe Edition for PlayStation 5.

The game, which has already been successful on PC and Switch, comes to consoles to offer a unique experience

Brotato made its debut in Early Access for PC via Steam on September 27, 2022, followed by a full release on June 23, 2023. The Switch version launched on August 3, 2023. Now, players of console will be able to enjoy this exciting roguelike action shooter starting January 30.

Brotato tells the story of a flying saucer from Potato World that crashes on an alien planet. The only survivor, Brotato, is the only potato capable of wielding six weapons at the same time. Waiting to be rescued by his companions, Brotato must survive in this hostile environment.
