D3 Publisher and developer Sandlot have announced the delay of Earth Defense Force 6, originally planned for spring, through summer in the West. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC through Steam.
According to the companies, the launch window has been extended to add the finishing touches and finalize the necessary preparations for the western launch of Earth Defense Force 6.
Meanwhile, in Asia, Earth Defense Force 6 will launch for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 with English audio and text on March 14. Earth Defense Force 6 was first released for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on August 25, 2022 in Japan.
This postponement, while disappointing for Western fans, suggests a commitment by the developers to delivering a polished and satisfying experience. Players can expect Earth Defense Force 6 to arrive with even more refinement and preparation for its summer release.
