Rebellion Developments and XR Games announce Zombie Army VR for PlayStation VR2, SteamVR and Quest 2, 3 and Pro

Rebellion Developments and XR Games have revealed the release of Zombie Army VRa virtual reality first-person shooter, for PlayStation VR2, SteamVR and Quest 2, 3 and Pro. The expected release date is 2024.

The game, based on the popular Zombie Army franchise, promises to take the zombie apocalypse experience to a new level of immersion through virtual reality headsets. According to the description provided by Rebellion Developments, Zombie Army VR will allow players to experience the fear, excitement, and chilling tension of the zombie apocalypse from the perspective of the Deadhunters, an elite squad tasked with hunting down zombie war criminals.

In Zombie Army VR, players will return to the battlefield near the bombed-out city of Nuremberg to help Hermann Wolff, the legendary leader of the Deadhunters, find his scattered family and free Europe from the zombie apocalypse. With virtual reality, players will be able to aim with precision using both hands to fire rifles, pistols and machine guns, as well as reload their weapons while hordes of the undead surround them on all sides.

To take on the relentless swarm of undead, players will have an arsenal of authentic World War II weapons at their disposal, including sniper rifles, machine guns, pistols and more. Additionally, players can improve their Deadhunter skills by gaining experience and using weapon upgrade kits to customize the accuracy, range, scope, and ammo capacity of their weapons.

With Zombie Army VRfans of the franchise will be able to dive even deeper into the apocalyptic Zombie Army universe, experiencing the adrenaline and challenge of fighting hordes of the undead in 1940s Europe like never before.
