“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” is one of the most popular franchises for children, created in 1984 by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman. It began as a successful comic book series and later became a successful animated television series, a live-action television series and subsequently spawned numerous film blockbusters. The property is a global consumer products powerhouse, winning in every category it has launched in to date, including toys, apparel, video games, DVDs and more, generating billions of dollars in retail sales.

Stephanie Malham, COO of Outright Games, commented: “Nickelodeon is one of our longest-standing licensing collaborators and we are very excited to have the opportunity to bring the Ninja Turtles to life in a completely new and original video game. “This is one of the most enduring and beloved franchises in the world and we are beyond excited to use our experience to further expand the Turtles’ global reach through the world of video games.”

Doug Rosen, senior vice president of games and emerging media at Paramount, added: “It’s exciting to release our first console game set in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem universe, especially as the franchise continues to grow. “The vibrancy of this new film’s animation lends itself perfectly to video games, and we can’t wait for everyone to play it!”

More information about the game has yet to be announced, but Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans will surely be eagerly awaiting its 2024 release.
