Retrovibe and Deathless Games have announced Undead Westan exciting “bullet hell” action game with a western theme and roguelite elements coming to PC via Steam in 2024.
In Undead West, the player will be immersed in a western world, facing hordes of enemies while using a variety of weapons, whiskey infusions, and upgrades obtained by defeating bosses to complete each stage. The protagonist is a cowboy who has been killed in a revolver duel against the Man in Red. Death agrees to resurrect him so he can carry out his quest for revenge, but there is a deal. Death asks that you pay your debt of resurrection in souls. Each opponent downed on the path to revenge grants you a soul that can be used to unlock new weapons and whiskey, a mix that provides a short boost during combat.
Watching the action from a top-down perspective, you’ll navigate danger-filled areas filled with demons, skeletons, and a hail of bullets to take on ominous bosses, culminating in a showdown against the Man in Red.
