‘Born of Bread’ delayed until next fall

Publisher Dear Villagers and developer WildArts have announced a delay in the release of the long-awaited adventure RPG “Born of Bread“. Initially planned for the summer, the game will now launch during the fall. “Born of Bread” will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch and PC through Steam. To ease the wait, players can enjoy a demo available on all platforms.

Nicolas Lamarche, lead designer and programmer at WildArts, commented in a press release: “We know ‘Born of Bread’ is taking a little longer to bake than we expected, but it will be worth the wait. The best cakes take time, and we want to create the perfect combination of RPG ingredients. “We are sure the final dish will be truly delicious when ‘Born of Bread’ is released this fall.”

An overview of the game, provided by Dear Villagers, reveals its unique charm:

“Born of Bread” is a home-style turn-based role-playing adventure that pays homage to classic RPGs filled with fun characters and charming stories for children and adults alike. Beings from another era are wreaking havoc on the land, and their mischief poses a great threat to everyone. The unlikely hero, Loaf, a golem born of bread with endless childlike curiosity, will find himself and his new friends in the middle of a drama thousands of years in the making. Explore a wonderful world full of mysteries and face enemies in hybrid turn-based and real-time combat.

Although the wait is long, fans can rest assured that “Born of Bread” is taking the time necessary to deliver a delicious and unique gaming experience.

This delay will allow the development team to perfect their masterpiece and deliver a game that meets players’ expectations. RPG lovers can prepare for an adventure with Loaf and his friends when “Born of Bread” arrives this fall.
