‘Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector’ will be available on Xbox Series

Publisher Fellow Traveler and developer Jump Over the Age have announced that Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector will be available for Xbox Series, in addition to its previously announced version for PC (Steam). The game will also be available through Xbox Game Pass at launch.

Here’s an overview of the game, according to its Steam page:

“Welcome back to the Helion system! It’s been over a year since Citizen Sleeper was released, and the response has been incredible – from players’ personal stories to award ceremonies. And now, in announcing a sequel, Guillaume, Amos and I are embarking on another journey. Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector will take you to a new location, put you in the declining body of a new Sleeper, and once again ask you to build a life for yourself among the stars. But this time you have a ramshackle ship and a crew you’ve recruited, both needing you to guide them through a system-wide crisis. Once again, I’ll be taking advantage of the freedom and flexibility of tabletop RPGs, the shifting and chaos of dice, and the sense of foreshadowing and progress that a slowly filling clock creates, but I’ll also be bringing fresh ideas, characters, and systems to the whole. We’ll be revealing more details throughout the year, and the best way to make sure you don’t miss out is to subscribe to the Jump Over the Age substack, where some strange streams are currently arriving… Turn your gaze to the stars, and we’ll see you in the Belt! !”

You are a Sleeper, an android owned by a corporation hiding in the Starward Belt on the edge of the Helion system. After a desperate attempt to free yourself from service by rewriting the very code that governs your system, you are on the run with a defective body, a price on your head, and no memory of your past. You stole a ship and left the past behind. Keep it going, maintain it, even improve it, and maybe it will take you away from all this. But you can’t handle it alone. You’ll need a crew, and while the Belt is full of people looking for work, it’s also full of problems. Can you keep the ship together in this crisis? Can you build a shelter here among the stars? There is a crisis developing in the Helion system. Two vast corporate entities are waging a bitter covert war, touching everything, including the Starward Belt. Waves of refugees, shattered remains of warring ships, strange new technologies, all are arriving at the edge of the Belt. Navigate this shifting territory, accept contracts, get paid, and survive to see the next cycle.
