Capcom has provided an update on its “Platinum Titles”, games that have surpassed the impressive figure of one million units sold. The updated data, through June 30, 2023, shows impressive sales figures for some of its most popular titles.
One of the notable news is the successful launch of “Street Fighter 6”, which has sold 1.9 million units on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series and PC. It is important to mention that total sales exceeded two million units by July 6, just a week after the cut-off date.
Another title that has achieved an impressive achievement is “Resident Evil 4 Remake”, which has sold 4.9 million units on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series and PC. Since March 31, 2023, an additional 1.2 million units have been sold, bringing total sales to more than five million units by July 20.
“Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak” has also been a smash hit, with sales of 6.1 million units since its launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. Since the end of March, the game has sold 700,000 more units, demonstrating its continued appeal among gamers.
Other notable entries on the list include “Resident Evil 2,” which has sold 12.6 million units, “Resident Evil 3” with 7.6 million units sold, and “Monster Hunter Rise” with 13.2 million units sold. “Resident Evil 7 biohazard” has reached the mark of 12.4 million units sold, while “Resident Evil Village” has achieved 8.3 million units sold.
The “Monster Hunter” series continues to be an unstoppable force in sales for Capcom, with “Monster Hunter World: Iceborne” reaching 10.5 million units sold and “Monster Hunter World” surpassing a staggering 19 million units sold.
In addition to the aforementioned titles, “Capcom Arcade Stadium” has sold 1.3 million units and “Street Fighter V” has reached 7.3 million copies sold. “Devil May Cry 5” has reached 7.2 million units sold, while “Devil May Cry HD Collection” has sold 1.5 million units.
