Electronic Arts Announces EA Sports UFC 5 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series

EA Sports has excited fight fans with the announcement of EA Sports UFC 5, which will be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The game will launch on October 27 and will be available in two editions: standard for $69.99 and deluxe for $99.99. Digital pre-sales are now available.

Content of the editions

The standard edition will include the base game, two alter egos, the “30th Anniversary Vanity Bundle,” five experience upgrades in the online Career mode and Muhammad Ali as a playable character. On the other hand, the Deluxe Edition will include the base game, three-day early access, playable fighters such as Mike Tyson, Fedor Emelianenko and Muhammad Ali, the “Bruce Lee Bundle,” four alter egos, the “Origins Bundle,” the “30th Anniversary Vanity Bundle,” and five online Career mode experience upgrades.

An authentic UFC experience

EA Sports UFC 5 promises to be as real as ever before. Thanks to the advanced rendering capabilities of the Frostbite engine, your favorite fighters will now have unmatched likenesses to complement the next-level environmental fidelity that will make their road to the Octagon feel like a pay-per-view main event.

A true damage system

The new authentic damage system brings the intensity and strategy of a fight to life, as cuts and absorbed hits can affect mobility, defense, stamina, and more. If you take too much damage, the doctor will check if you can continue.

Improvements to ground play

For lovers of ground play, the new Transition Based Submissions make grappling feel more fluid and realistic than ever. And if you like to admire your work, the new Cinematic KO Replays capture your fight finishes in all their punishing glory.

A revamped live service calendar

Additionally, a completely revamped live service schedule features exciting challenges across all pay-per-view fight weeks. Bring home the next evolution of the fighting game with EA Sports UFC 5.

Fighting and video game fans won’t want to miss this exciting installment that promises to take the UFC experience to a whole new level. Get ready to enter the Octagon on October 27!
