Konami has launched the official website for the series’ 30th anniversary Powerful Pro Baseball and the 20th anniversary of the Professional Baseball Spirits series. A message on the website reads: “In 2024, the Powerful Pro Baseball series will celebrate its 30th anniversary, and the Professional Baseball Spirits series will celebrate its 20th anniversary. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported us on this journey. Currently, various projects are being carried out to make the anniversary year an exciting one. Please continue to look forward to Powerful Pro Baseball and Professional Baseball Spirits as we strive to advance the world of baseball more than ever.”
The text below the message reads, “Commemorative events will appear one after another,” followed by images of the logos of Professional Baseball Spirits Ace, Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball, and Powerful Pro Baseball Eikan Nine Crossroad, and three question marks labeled “New information to be announced.” The first Powerful Pro Baseball game, Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball ’94, was released for the Super Famicom on March 11, 1994 in Japan. The first Professional Baseball Spirits game, Professional Baseball Spirits 2004, was released for the PlayStation 2 on March 25, 2004 in Japan.
