The demonstration of the long-awaited action role-playing game, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, has been released for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on January 12, according to the announcement by Cygames, the publisher, and Cygames Osaka, the developer. The demo is now available in regions like New Zealand, where it is already January 12.
Update Schedule Revealed
The companies also revealed the update schedule for Granblue Fantasy: Relink. In March, players will be able to take on a Lucilius boss in a mission. April will bring the addition of two new playable characters, Seofon and Tweyen. Additionally, more additions are expected in May, which have not yet been announced.
Demo Details
The demo, available for download on PlayStation Store from midnight (JST) on January 12, offers three game modes: “Tutorial”, “Story” and “Mission”. Tutorial mode allows you to practice the game’s basic controls, while Story mode offers an introductory portion of the plot, similar to the final version. Lastly, Mission mode features three challenging multiplayer missions.
Players can customize the equipment loadout of characters in this mode and enjoy the unique dialogue between them. Completing the Story and Mission modes of the demo will earn bonuses for the full version of the game.
