RPG horror game Withering Rooms will leave Early Access and launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC on April 2

Perp Games and Moonless Formless have announced that Withering Rooms, a 2.5D horror RPG, will leave Early Access and officially launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on April 2. The game will be available for $24.99 / £19.99 / €24.99 on the digital platform, and a physical edition will follow for PlayStation 5 on May 10 for $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99.

Withering Rooms, which initially launched in Early Access for PC via Steam on October 4, 2022, invites players to explore the Victorian mansion Mostyn House, which is rearranged every night and is filled with undead creatures, invisible ghosts , malicious witches and mad men with axes. Players take on the role of Nightingale, a young girl who must confront these horrors in a challenging RPG that combines elements of roguelikes, Soulslikes, and classic survival horror games.

The game offers an expansive procedurally generated map that includes the mansion Mostyn House and the labyrinths of hedges, tombs, caves, churches and ruins that lie beyond its gates. Players can create their own perfect set of weapons, tools, spells, costumes and magical artifacts, and will encounter a variety of strange characters with agendas of their own during their exploration.

The question that remains is: Can Nightingale find a way to escape Mostyn House, or will she become powerful enough to control it? Players will soon be able to find out as they immerse themselves in the terrifying and challenging world of Withering Rooms.
