Konami announces reissue of “Ninja Five-O” for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch and PC


Konami has announced a remake of the side-scrolling action platformer Ninja Five-O for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch and PC (Steam), developed in the Carbon Engine of Limited Run Games. Also known as Ninja Cop In Europe, the game was first released for the Game Boy Advance on April 11, 2003 in Europe and on April 22, 2003 in North America. Despite being developed by Hudson Soft, it was not released in Japan. Physical editions will also be available through Limited Run Games. More details will be announced at a later date.

Ninja Five-O offers an advanced ninja action experience, where players take on the role of Ninja Five-O as he uses all his skills, stealth and magic to rescue hostages and defeat his enemies. The game features a variety of key features, including:

  • The “Kaginawa Wire” grappling hook, which can be used for hanging, flying, jumping, wall climbing, and surprise attacks.
  • Six challenging missions spanning 20 levels.
  • Destroy objects to find hidden Power-Ups and secret items.
  • Unique enemy boss characters for each level.
