METASLA announces Sea Fantasy, a new open-world action RPG with pixel art

Japanese developer METASLA has announced the release of Sea Fantasy, a new open-world action RPG with pixel art, for consoles and PC (Steam). Although the specific consoles it will be available for have not yet been specified, the game is scheduled to be released in February 2025 with support for multiple languages, including English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

According to the description provided on the Steam page, Sea Fantasy offers a unique experience in which two young people embark on a fishing adventure in the game’s vast pixelated world. However, this is not a peaceful fishing game, as the world faces imminent destruction.

Featured Features

  • Fishing Action: Use your fishing skills to catch the sea creatures of the Sea Fantasy world. Take advantage of the right moment to reduce the health of the SeaAZ and catch them successfully.
  • Boat Adventure: Freely explore the vast pixelated world aboard your ship. Discover new islands and immerse yourself in exciting adventures.
  • Dungeon Exploration: In addition to fishing, you can also explore dungeons on the islands you discover. Search for treasure, but be careful of any traps you may find.
  • Creation: Craft new fishing equipment using materials obtained from the sea creatures you catch.
  • Epic Story: Immerse yourself in an epic story full of danger and challenges, where the destruction of the world lurks around every corner.

With its original focus on fishing action and exploration of a pixelated open world, Sea Fantasy promises to offer a unique experience for adventure-hungry gamers.
