Gearbox Publishing and developer Gunfire Games have released a new update for the third-person action survival shooter Remnant IIadding cross-play support on all platforms. “Crossplay has been one of the most player-requested features for Remnant II, and our community has been incredibly patient waiting for this feature to be implemented,” said David Adams, president of Gunfire Games and director of Remnant II, in a press release. “We are excited to release this update today as the team has been working hard to make it a reality. There’s even more Remnant II content on the way, including the second DLC!”
The limited-time in-game event “Aberration Domination” has also returned. From today until March 5, hordes of Aberrations have appeared in all worlds, and players who defeat these enemies can collect Corrupted Shards and use them to create new corrupted weapons. This event introduces five new corrupted versions of the following weapons: Savior, Twisted Crossbow, Pain, Bucket Weapon, and Nebula.
Remnant II is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
