New “SYNCHRONY” DLC for Crypt of the NecroDancer now available on multiple platforms

The long-awaited downloadable content “SYNCHRONY” for Crypt of the NecroDancer has left the Early Access phase and is now available for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam and GOG for $6.99, along with the game’s latest update, developer Brace Yourself Games announced. Although it’s unclear if an Xbox One release is planned.

The “massive” content pack, which adds three new characters, support for online multiplayer, and more, was first released in Early Access for PC via Steam on August 4, 2022.

According to Brace Yourself Games, “SYNCHRONY” is a massive expansion that adds support for cross-platform online multiplayer (co-op and versus), three new characters, mod support (and an integrated mod portal), new items, enemies, traps and further.

Main features of “SYNCHRONY”:

  • Support for online multiplayer for up to eight players in cooperative and versus modes.
  • Three new characters: Chaunter, Suzu and Klarinetta, each with unique abilities.
  • Mod support and an integrated mod portal that allows you to modify most aspects of the game.
  • New weapons, spells, items, enemies, altars, traps and more.
  • “Weekly Challenge” mode, which features new content created by the community each week.

Although Brace Yourself Games expressed interest in bringing “SYNCHRONY” to Xbox in the future, they have not yet begun the porting process nor have they made any concrete plans in this regard. Players can enjoy this exciting content right now on multiple platforms and immerse themselves in the unique Crypt of the NecroDancer experience.
