New retro cyberpunk mystery adventure game, Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER, launching on May 16


Publisher Chorus Worldwide and developer MidBoss have announced that the retro cyberpunk mystery adventure game, Read Only Memories: NEURODIVERwill be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on May 16, priced at $14.99 / £12.79 / €14.79.

Additionally, physical standard editions for $44.99 and collector’s editions for $99.99 will be released for PlayStation 5 and Switch through distributor Serenity Forge. Pre-sales are now available.

Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER is the upcoming mystery adventure set in the world of 2064: Read Only Memories from MidBoss. Players will return to the vibrant cyberpunk world of Neo-San Francisco, filled with friendly and familiar faces, including Jess Meas, the gene hybrid lawyer, TOMCAT, the notorious hacker, and Lexi Rivers, the former cop turned private detective.

Players will take on the role of ES88, a telepath with the ability to immerse herself in memories employed by MINERVA, a powerful organization specializing in neurotechnology and extrasensory projection phenomena. The task is to track down the Golden Butterfly, a naturally gifted psychic who is wreaking havoc through the subconscious minds of Neo-San Francisco.

The game will introduce a new mechanic called “Deep Dive”, which allows ES88 to identify, manipulate and unlock information in other characters’ memories. Additionally, new characters, locations, and mechanics will be introduced, including the ability to dive and change other characters’ memories, as well as revamped art and an unsolved case with multiple endings.

With its upcoming release, Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER promises to deliver an exciting retro cyberpunk adventure experience full of mystery and action for players on all platforms.
