New strategy game “Songs of Silence” announced for 2024

Chimera Entertainment, the publisher and developer, has revealed that the strategy game “Songs of Silence” will arrive on PC via Steam and GOG in spring 2024, followed by releases for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series at a later date.

“Songs of Silence” is presented as a strategy game rich in history, set in two fantasy worlds threatened by the devouring Silence. The game’s offering includes a unique mix of turn-based kingdom management, exploration and hero development, contrasted with short, intense real-time battles.

Featured Features:

  • Exceptional musical orchestra by Hitoshi Sakimoto, known for his work on Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy XII.
  • Inspired by the Art Nouveau style of Alphonse Mucha, “Songs of Silence” breaks the trend of dark maps and anonymous units, presenting beautiful and colorful visuals.
  • Over 100 units available to recruit into powerful armies as you explore handcrafted campaigns and custom maps for multiplayer.

The game offers a unique card experience, where instead of building a deck, cards represent unique actions granted by heroes and locations. These are played on the campaign map or during real-time battles, influencing troop orders, status effects or direct damage.

Strategic take:

  • Deadly ambushes on the ground or direct sieges of enemy cities.
  • Resource management to rebuild a devastated kingdom and defeat rival kingdoms.
  • Intense and fast battles with formations, tactical orders, reinforcements and divine powers.

Each faction and hero features a unique playstyle, both on the strategic map and in battle. With hundreds of card effects available, from celestial summons to destroying entire cities, the possibilities are virtually limitless.

With the promise of an innovative strategic experience and a rich narrative, “Songs of Silence” is shaping up to be a standout title in the strategy genre.
