‘Shadow of the Ninja Reborn’ will arrive in the west from ININ Games

Excitement is running high for fans of ninja action games, as ININ Games has announced that it will be publishing “Shadow of the Ninja Reborn” in the West. This 16-bit style reimagining, developed by Tengo Project, was announced in Japan under the title “KAGE Shadow of the Ninja.” The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam, with support for multiple languages, including English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

An overview of the game, provided by ININ Games, reveals an exciting prospect: “This pioneer in ninja action games is returning after 33 years. The original title was released for the Japanese Nintendo Family Computer console by Natsume Inc. in 1990. At the time, it was one of the most polished action games for the Family Computer and was rated as one of the best two-player cooperative games. It was also the first in a series of titles that solidified Natsume’s reputation as a master of action games. Released as ‘Shadow of Ninja’ in North America and ‘Blue Shadow’ in Europe, this classic finally returns in an all-new production.”

The news that “Shadow of the Ninja Reborn” is coming to Western consoles and PCs with a revitalized 16-bit experience is sure to excite fans of the original series and new players alike. The promise of updated gameplay and the opportunity to immerse yourself in the nostalgia of ninja action games makes this announcement excellent news for lovers of classic and modern video games alike.
