Limited Run Games, along with developers The MIX Games and Wallride, have announced that Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam in March. Additionally, Limited Run Games will offer a special NES edition of the game. As part of Steam Next Fest: February 2024, a demo of the game will be available.

The game offers a cooperative gaming experience for up to two players, where babies must team up to win. With levels inspired by Rugrats interpretations of the world, players will be able to switch between 8-bit art for an authentic NES retro-era experience and HD art with hand-drawn animations for a nostalgic experience inspired by the iconic NES television show.
