The physical video game collectors amongst you won’t be pleased to learn that the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition video games, which are enhanced Nintendo Switch games taking advantage of the more powerful Switch 2 hardware, will be an original Nintendo Switch game with a download code for the upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. This means that you won’t get a Nintendo Switch 2 cartridge, just a regular cartridge with an in-box download code to upgrade to the enhanced version.
