Radirgy 2: Vertical shooter delayed until March 2024 in Japan

Publisher BEEP and developer RS34 have announced a delay in the release of the vertical shooter Radirgy 2. The game, which was originally scheduled for release on December 7, 2023, is rescheduled for March 28, 2024 in Japan. It will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Switch. According to the publisher, the delay is necessary to make quality improvements and add additional specifications.

Radirgy is a vertical shooter that was originally released as an arcade title in 2005. Thanks to its unique style as “Superflat Denpa-kei Shmup,” it slowly gained popularity and was ported to a variety of home consoles. Radirgy 2 is a significant evolution in the latest Radirgy series, which aims to reinterpret the denpa-kei shmup. In this game, you will control the flying mech “Murasame” and experience its evolution while facing hordes of relentless enemies.

Despite the delay, fans of vertical shooters can look forward to the release of Radirgy 2 in March 2024, with the promise of an improved and more exciting experience.
